The Global Forum on Migration and Development (GFMD) was created in 2007 and it is a state-led, informal and non-binding process, which helps shape the global debate on migration and development.
This edition will have a more strongly regional focus than in previous years – something that chimes well with its Chair’s emphasis, over 2020, on the importance of regional perspectives.
