The upcoming 2nd Latin America and the Caribbean Regional Forum “Vivienda para la Vida” (Housing for Life), which will be held in Monterrey, Mexico 5-8 May 2015.
The conference will bring together some 600 strategic regional stakeholders from the public and private sectors as well as civil society to exchange innovative, successful experiences around housing and public policies in the region.
It will also look at housing through the lens of climate change, social development needs, urbanisation, and economic growth pressures. The general idea is that a holistic approach to housing is needed to help overcome social and climate change challenges, and promote economic growth.
