COSP 14: For Inclusive Quality Police Services for Persons with Disabilities

On the occasion of the 14th Conference of States Parties (COSP) to the United Nations Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (CRPD), the Special Envoy on Disability and Accessibility will hold the High-Level side event, "For Inclusive Quality Police Services for Persons with Disabilities" on June 15 from 13:15h - 14:30h EDT (19:15h - 20:30h CEST).

The event, organized by the Office of the UN Special Envoy on Disability and Accessibility, is sponsored by United Cities and Local Governments (UCLG), and co-sponsored by UNDESA, Permanent Mission of Pakistan to the UN, Permanent Mission of Finland to the UN, Permanent Mission of Chile to the UN, UNDESA, UNESCO and World Enabled.

This launch event of the Special Envoy’s Campaign aims to promote awareness of inclusive and quality policing as a relevant factor in the fulfillment of human rights and sustainable development in the 21st century.
