This high-level conference will take place under the theme “Resilient Heritage and Tourism” and will be held under the auspices of UNESCO with the participation of Joko Widodo, President of Indonesia, and the heads of local and regional governments of the cities of the Eurasian and Asia-Pacific regions.
The organizers of the Conference are the Denpasar Municipality, OWHC Euro-Asia and UCLG-Eurasia.
The central debate will be how to protect the World Heritage from the climate problems and how local governments implement SDG 13 at local level.
