Under the topic, Local Economic Development (LED) and decent work in cultural economies, UCLG and the city of  Chefchaouen, will celebrate a learning Exchange in Northern Africa under the leadership of the mayor of Chefchaouen, Morocco.  The city is part of the Local Economic Development (LED) working group; of the Committee on Urban Strategic Planning, and of the Working Group on Sustainable tourism in cooperation with the International Labour Organisation (ILO).

M. Sefiani – Mayor of Chaouen – is leading the Working Group on Intermediary Cities, therefore he represents the group in the global community, motivates the network to grow and supervises the documentation.

The participants will be cities from Senegal; Tunisia; Morocco; Mauritania, Andalusia and others to be confirmed, regions, trade unions, networks of farmers assocations, universities, FAMSI, CIMES and UCLG-Africa.
