After three days of work during the 17th Miercociudades Summit in Quilmes (Argentina), members of Miercocuidades reaffirmed the sense of identity and cultural belonging to Merscosur, the commitment of local governments to reduce social inequalities, poverty and the reliance of Latin America on external support.
The Quilmes Declaration also welcomes Venuezuela into Mercosur and supports all efforts to facilitate the integration of Ecuator and Bolivia into the block.
