The Committee on Culture organizes an important meeting in Lille

The Committee on Culture of UCLG organizes an important meeting in Lille (France) on 26-27-28 June 2013.

We have key issues to share. The meeting in Lille provides the opportunity to discuss our priorities for the next years with time: (a) key presentations of cities engaged in the local implementation of Agenda 21 for culture; (b) working session on cultural rights with Dr Patrice Meyer-Bisch; (c) state of the art of our work related to the Post-2015 Development Agenda and Habitat III (2016); (d) report on the UNESCO conference on “Culture: Key to Sustainable Development”, Hangzhou, China, 14-17 May 2013; (e) launch of the World Award on Agenda 21 for culture; (f) preparation of UCLG’s World Congress in Rabat (1-4 October 2013); (f) launch of the process to update Agenda 21 for culture in 2014; (g) ideas for our programme for the new period 2014-2016; (h) technical visits to cultural projects in Lille.
