General Assembly of UCLG members

As you know, the 5th Congress of United Cities and Local Governments (UCLG) and the World Summit of Local and Regional Leaders will take place on 12‑15 October 2016 in Bogotá, Colombia, at the kind invitation of Enrique Peñalosa Londoño, Mayor of Bogotá.
 
This gathering will see representatives from the world of local and regional governments come together over four days to define the global agenda of cities and regions for the coming years and to develop inputs for the upcoming international processes.
 
It will also be the occasion to renew the UCLG governing bodies, elect a new presidency and define the UCLG agenda.
 
With this in mind, we are inviting all UCLG members to participate in the General Assembly, which comprises all members and is tasked with the election of the World Council.
 

The UCLG General Assembly will take place on:
Friday 14 October
Corferias Convention Centre
16:00-17:30

 If you are UCLG member and you would like to take part in the General Assembly please complete the attached registration form and send it back to the UCLG World Secretariat to the following email address [email protected] by 23 September.

You are further kindly reminded that the meetings of the Executive Bureau and World Council will take place on 13 and 15 October respectively

Registration for the Summit can be carried out through the dedicated website, where you will also find logistical information, including on hotels and visas. Please note that Summit delegates are expected to take care of their own travel, accommodation and registration arrangements.
