UCLG launches the #LearningWithUclg Online Platform

This October UCLG has launched its online Learning Platform #LearningWithUclg, an open space for the UCLG Learning community to participate and offer their own online courses, that can be integrated and chosen by all registered members.

The first one already available is based on the LLE #BeyondTheOutbreak series, on the importance of local public services during and beyond the pandemics, and contains self-paced contents, videos and quizzes. Until the end of 2020, new Moocs (Massive and Open Online Courses) will be offered, as the SDGs localization courses, based on the learning modules produced with UN-Habitat, UNDP-Art and the Barcelona Provincial Council, about: local awareness raising strategies; planning and monitoring; and reporting of the SDGs localization.
The #LearningWithUclg platform is also a place of hosting different webinars, as the ne already proposed by the UCLG Culture Committee, that will discuss Culture and the SDGs, Culture and COVID-19. Sections, committees, members and partners are invited to propose their own online courses on the #LearningWithUclg platform, integrating different Moocs and webinars to the existing ones.

In this sense new Moocs are already being proposed by different members of the UCLG Learning Forum, about Local Economic Development, Local Finances and Accessibility.
