At the aftermath of the terrible train accident that took place in Santiago de Compostela (Galicia, Spain) on wednesday 24th July killing more than 70 people and injuying around 80, the World Organisation United Cities and Local Governments expresses the solidarity and support of mayors and local authorities around the world to the citizens of Santiago de Compostela, and to the people of Galicia, with special warm greetings to the families of the victims.
