For some years, the Committee on Urban Strategic Planning has been overseeing the activities of CityFuture and has noted its substantial evolution. Last year in particular, the Co-president E-Thekwini (Durban) engaged continuously and constructively in supporting the UCLG Peer Learning Agenda and its activities.
The results and commitment of this work have been crucial in attracting more support from partners. For the coming years, the UCLG World Secretariat will continue and further the peer learning agenda, with particular support for the Mozambican association and its members in order to apply lessons from Brazil and other Southern peers.
